The Brazilian national team qualified for the semi-finals of the Under-17 World Cup today after defeating the Moroccan national team by two goals to one, on the grounds of pitch number 7 at the Aspire Academy in Doha, Qatar.

The first half was characterized by a more tactical style between the two sides and witnessed two goals, the first for the “Samba” team in the 16th minute by the player Del.

The equalizing goal for the national team came from the brilliant Ziad Baha in the 45+4 minute from the penalty spot.

The first minutes of the second half saw an exchange of attacks between the two sides, but nothing new came of it.

In the dying moments, the Brazilian team scored the qualifying goal through striker Del, thus securing qualification for the"Samba" team.

The Brazilian youth national team will face their Portuguese counterparts in the World Cup semi-finals, after the Iberian team defeated their Swiss counterparts 2-0.
