The Russians targeted the building of the Ukrainian army in the Sumy region
Russian forces again hit the center of the city of Sumy with drones, injuring people, said acting mayor of Sumy Artem Kobzar and Oleg Grigorov, head of the military administration of Sumy Oblast.
"Two explosions were heard in the city today. The first was a drone attack on a critical infrastructure facility. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no victims. The second explosion was also a drone attack, this time on a non-residential building in the central part of the city. Preliminary reports say that two people were injured. All competent services are working on the scene," said Kobzar.
Grigorov noted that Russian forces, who had already attacked the building of the military administration of the Sumy region with attack drones on Friday and Saturday, launched a new attack today.
"Russia is systematically targeting civilian and administrative infrastructure, seeking to intimidate people and destabilize the region. Repeated attacks on an administrative building indicate that the enemy may continue its attempts to destroy it. We call on everyone to prioritize security and avoid being near administrative buildings or critical infrastructure facilities during airstrikes," Grigorov said.
