Jannik Sinner ready for Wimbledon final

Novak Djokovic has won Wimbledon seven times.

2025 will not be the year the Serb takes his eighth victory.

Jannik Sinner dominated the semi-final from start to finish – and won in three straight sets 6–3, 6–3, 6–4.

The first two sets took just over an hour to complete.

Ahead of the third set, Novak Djokovic received medical treatment for his leg, which he sprained in the quarterfinals against Flavio Cobolli. And the quick treatment seemed to pay off – as Djokovic took an early 3-0 lead.

Dream final awaits

But Jannik Sinner turned things around relatively easily and reached his first Wimbledon final ever.

– I can't believe it. This is a tournament I always watched on TV when I was little, and I could never imagine that I would get to play in the final here, says Sinner after the victory.

There he will face Carlos Alcaraz, which will be a repeat of the most recent grand slam final at the French Open.
