Visiting the Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva, where damage was reported from Iranian attacks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the United States is providing substantial support in the confrontation with Iran.

"They are participating in protecting the skies over Israel and its cities," Netanyahu told CNN."I think it's remarkable cooperation," he added.

The Israeli leader was asked if Israel's goal is to change the Iranian regime.

"This could be the outcome," he said."But it's up to the Iranian people to stand up for their freedom. Freedom never comes cheap."

Netanyahu also added that his country could help create a favorable context for such a change.

"We could create conditions that would help them do this," Netanyahu said.

Today, June 19, 2025, is the seventh day of the conflict between Israel and Iran.

The conflict began on June 13, when Israel launched airstrikes on strategic targets in Iran. In response, Iran fired missiles into Israeli territory, including civilian areas. Since then, the fighting has escalated daily, with no signs of abating anytime soon.
