US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth reportedly made an emergency landing at a British airport after a crack in his plane's windshield. The statement also confirmed that everyone on board was safe.

Pentagon Spokesperson Sean Parnell, in a statement on the social media platform of the US-based X company, shared the information that Hegseth, who was returning from a NATO meeting, made an emergency landing at an airport in England due to a crack in the windshield of his plane.

Parnell stated, “While returning to the United States from the NATO Defense Ministers Meeting, Hegseth’s plane made an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom due to a crack in the windshield.” Parnell emphasized that the plane landed “in accordance with standard procedures” and noted that everyone on board, including Minister Hegseth, was safe. Minister Hegseth attended the Ukraine Defense Liaison Group Meeting held today at NATO Headquarters in Brussels and assessed the course of the Russia-Ukraine War.
