"The meeting is necessary. It is not a matter of desire, but of necessity. We supported both a trilateral and bilateral meeting in any format. I believe that Russia is doing everything it can to postpone it," Zelensky said at a press conference after the "Coalition of the Willing" summit in Paris.
"Our American partners have informed us that Putin invited me to Moscow. I believe that if you want to prevent the meeting from taking place, you should invite me to Moscow."

Zelensky said that the very fact that Putin has started talking about such a meeting is a positive sign, but so far there is no indication that Russia wants to end the war.
"Grown people should come out of a meeting of this level with some result, preferably an end to the war."
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiha said earlier that Putin's proposal to meet Zelensky in Moscow was "unacceptable".
