Waiting for Ukraine hard winter, because Russia seeks to force Ukrainians to demand surrender from the authorities under any conditions.
This was stated on the air by Yevhen Dykyi, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, former company commander of the Aidar battalion, and director of the National Antarctic Research Center. Radio NV .
"We are facing a difficult winter, quite dark and cold. Russia is directing such large resources towards this that no matter how many Patriots they give us, no matter how many air defenses they deliver, there is no chance of being completely protected from it," he said.
According to Dyky, this winter, Ukrainian energy will suffer greatly, and the Russian Federation is betting hugely on this.
The expert emphasized that Moscow expects that this is precisely what the Ukrainians will not be able to stand and will finally ask for surrender.
"And it is in the rear that civilian Ukrainians will begin to demand from the authorities that they negotiate with Russia under any conditions, because it is dark and cold for us. This calculation is a bit naive. It is unpleasant to return to the winter of 22-23 years. But we are already used to it and know how to survive, how to get out of this situation. But the main thing is that we know what this is all for," Dykyi noted.
At the same time, he emphasized that the situation in Russia is different, because they have not had anything like this yet.
"This will be their first cold and dark winter if we start doing this now. And apparently, we have no way out, we will have to set an additional task that we have not set before as a civilized country, so that the Russian population finally feels that this is really their war and it concerns them. This will be completely new for them. They are not prepared for this," the expert explained.
Strikes on Ukraine
As UNIAN reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces are working to blackout the Russians.
SBS Commander Robert"Magyar" Brody noted that the Unmanned Systems Forces will not inform about every knocked out substation Instead, he suggested that Russians follow the principle of"light/warm-BADABOOM-dark/winter."
He also noted that Russian citizens are doing a great job of helping Ukrainian drone pilots by posting the consequences of hits on social media.
