General Photo Release/Case Update

While Republican reactions to today's file release have been tight-lipped, Democrats in Congress have issued scathing statements before the second drop, keeping the topic on the agenda.

James Walkinshaw, a Democratic Congressman from Virginia, wrote on social media:

"The photos recently released are disturbing and demonstrate Epstein’s ties to powerful men, including Trump."

In a similar vein, fellow Virginia Congressman Suhas Subramanyam said:

"It's becoming impossible to believe the powerful men around Epstein didn't know. His disturbing abuse was on full display for all his friends to see..."

Many representatives once more appeal to the US Department of Justice to release all collected Epstein files quickly, as they're legally required to by next Friday.

Jasmine Crockett, Congresswoman from Texas, said:

"This is about truth and justice—for victims and survivors... The Epstein Files Act is law. Trump can release them today."

The US president has empathically denied wrongdoing regarding Jeffrey Epstein's crimes.
