The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) issued today, Friday, the monthly ranking of futsal national teams, during which the national team maintained its sixth position globally with a total of 1481.26 points.

The “Lions of the Hall” continue to establish their presence among the world’s elite, thanks to the positive results they have achieved in various international competitions, which has enabled them to maintain their advanced position in the latest rankings.

At the global level, the Brazilian national team continues to occupy first place, followed by Portugal, Spain, Argentina and then Iran.

In Africa, the national team maintained its leadership of the continent, ahead of the national teams of Egypt (39th globally), Libya (50th globally), South Africa (58th globally) and Angola (59th globally).

On the other hand, the national women’s indoor team made an important leap by climbing seven places compared to the previous update, to rank 24th globally with 1001.4 points, after boosting its score by 38.03 points.

This progress came after the remarkable performance of the national team during the recent World Cup finals in the Philippines, where the women’s team succeeded in reaching the second round of the competition.

Globally, Brazil continues to lead the rankings, followed by Spain, Portugal, Argentina, and Italy. The women's national team tops the African rankings, followed by Tanzania (74th globally), Senegal (82nd globally), and Cameroon (83rd globally).
