US President Donald Trump said he believes the residents of the Gaza Strip will remain where they are, expressing his hope that they will be able to build a better future within the territory.

Trump added, during an interview with Fox News on Monday, that Gaza was hell even before the war, but now there is a great opportunity to improve the situation, noting that the next phase may witness a broad international movement to support stability and development in the region.

The US President emphasized that the world's richest countries, led by great leaders, have shown a serious interest in contributing to improving conditions and rebuilding Gaza.

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and his US counterpart, Donald Trump, signed a comprehensive document regarding the agreement to end the war in Gaza during the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit. The document was also signed by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

A number of world leaders participated in the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit. The Egyptian presidency had previously announced the list of participants, which included kings, presidents, vice presidents, prime ministers, and ministers of various levels.
