The footage shows that the American side is represented, among others, by President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is present at the talks.

Zelensky's latest statements regarding the peace plan

As UNIAN reported, according to the president, Ukraine has not received a response from the US on the latest proposals for the peace plan. He also responded to Trump's words that Zelensky is the only one who does not like the US president's version of the peace plan. According to the Ukrainian leader, the final version of the peace plan will not be to everyone's liking.

Zelensky also reported that Ukrainian negotiating team expanded, in particular, it was joined by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko and Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev. The military component of the Ukrainian delegation has also been strengthened, the president added.

In addition, he explained Ukraine's position on peace talks , emphasizing that today Ukraine is not talking about honesty, but about strength."Unfortunately, this time requires respect exclusively for strength. Because if we talk about honesty and values, about respect for international law, the Russians should have been condemned. And from the very beginning, more than 10 years ago, the invasion of the sovereign land of Ukraine. This did not happen, it was only in words," Zelensky said.
