A relative of Mileva Karanović (75) from Kać told "Blic" that Mileva went to the doctor to have the cast removed from her leg. When she sat down on the bench to wait for the bus, the canopy fell on her.
- If you knew how wonderful she was! She helped everyone, it's a good family. He has a son and a daughter. Her daughter lives in the city, her son lives with her - this distant relative said.
Four children, eight grandchildren: Vukašin Raković (69)
Vukašin Raković was the father of four children and had eight grandchildren. According to his daughter Ivana (40), her father was on his way to Kać on November 1, 2024.
- He was sitting on the bench, he didn't have a phone. He had two surgeries, wore a cannula and couldn't talk. But he was moving - said daughter Ivana.

Her colleague Goranka Raca (58) described her after the tragedy as an "extremely nice woman".

Goranka Raca's father, Đuro Raca, died on October 7 this year.
Died with two granddaughters: Đorđe Firić (53)
Đorđe Firić (53) died with his two granddaughters, Sara (5) and Valentina (9).
They died while traveling to Loznica, where they were supposed to celebrate the glory. As volunteers from the Search and Rescue Organization later told, Djordje was found under the ruins hugging his grandchildren.
Famous scientist from Macedonia: Vasko Sazdovski (45)
The well-known scientist from North Macedonia Vasko Sazdovski (45) worked at the Institute in Novi Sad where information technologies for agriculture are researched and developed.
He was married and left behind two children. He found himself under the canopy while traveling to North Macedonia to see his family.

Sanja Arbutina Ćirić (35) went to the flower market in Novi Sad on the fateful day to buy flowers.
Sanja had a difficult life, she grew up without a father, and her mother later had a daughter, Sanja's sister, who passed away. She worked as a confectioner.

Anja was a student at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, she studied Chinese language.
She was pregnant, died with her boyfriend: Anđela Ruman (20)
Anđela Ruman was killed at the railway station while she was with her boyfriend Milos Milosavljević. Miloš's father discovered that Angela was pregnant and that, most likely, they planned to announce the good news a few days later, at the planned family lunch.
Angela's mother previously stated that they had so many plans that never materialized. Angela's mother often posts on social media and cherishes the memory of her daughter.
Young footballer: Miloš Milosavljević (21)
Miloš Milosavljević (21) from Knićanin near Zrenjanin was a young football player who was supposed to play an important match with his football team. He planned, they say, to celebrate his birthday afterwards.
He died while at the"Novi Sad" railway station with his girlfriend, Anđela Ruman.
