During his trip to the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with representatives of the First Corps of the Azov National Guard, special forces of the Rubizh National Guard, the Sicheslav Brigade, the Ptakhy Magyar, and fighters of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Today is in Donetsk region, in Dnipro region, most importantly, in the Pokrovsk direction, precisely in those corps that do important things, that destroy the occupier, defend Pokrovsk, defend Mirnograd, defend Dobropillya.

The First Corps of the Azov National Guard is precisely the Dobropilly direction. There were also, in particular, in the 4th operational brigade of the National Guard Rubizh, in the 7th rapid reaction corps of the DShV, in the 25th separate airborne Sicheslav brigade and in the 414th separate brigade of strike unmanned aviation systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ptakhy Magyar. All the commanders of the Unmanned Systems Forces were there. All of them, together with our other forces, provide protection in the Pokrovsk areas. I want to thank every soldier, every unit that is involved here and in other parts of the front."Today I awarded the best soldiers - those who distinguished themselves in battles," the President said.

He also said that he had spoken with the unit commanders regarding their urgent needs.

"Most of all - about drones. This is really a key component of combat work now. Many details, but the main thing: there should be more drones - all types of drones - and independence in the production of drones, and our own independence and truly reliable partners of Ukraine," Zelensky emphasized.

We remind you that fierce urban battles are ongoing in the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. The situation in this direction remains dynamic, the enemy is actively using artillery, drones, and guided aerial bombs.
