Tyler Robinson, suspected of murdering American far-right activist Charlie Kirk, lived with a transgender partner who is now cooperating with the FBI.

As Ukrinform reports, this was reported by Fox News, citing officials of the federal agency.

According to them, 22-year-old Robinson was in a romantic relationship with a person who is male at birth but identifies as female. They lived together in St. George, Utah. It is noted that Robinson's partner is cooperating closely with the investigation, while he had no idea that he intended to attack Kirk.

The FBI obtained text messages from communications between Robinson and his partner that helped agents track down the suspect.

According to an FBI representative, law enforcement officers are investigating the entire array of information on the suspect's computer and other gadgets, and anyone involved in this case, wherever they are in the world, will be held accountable.

The apartment where Robinson and his partner lived is located about a four-hour drive from Utah Valley University in Orem, where Kirk was shot.

Robinson's father recognized his son in surveillance video released after the murder and reported it to authorities.
