247 - With the vote of Minister Cristiano Zanin, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), in the First Chamber of the court, delivered this Thursday (11), the eight defendants of the central nucleus of the coup plot, including former president Jair Bolsonaro, were convicted. The final score was 4 to 1, with the dissenting vote of Minister Luiz Fux.

Zanin was the last minister on the panel to cast his vote, after the majority for Bolsonaro's conviction was established by Minister Cármen Lúcia.

"I fully support Moraes in judging the complaint filed by the Attorney General's Office to be admissible," said Zanin.

Below are the sentences handed down by the First Chamber, as announced by Minister Alexandre de Moraes:

Alexandre Ramagem - convicted of organized crime, attempted abolition of the rule of law, and coup d'état Almir Garnier, Anderson Torres, Augusto Heleno, and Paulo Sérgio Nogueira - convicted by majority vote for the crimes mentioned above, as well as armed criminal organization, attempted abolition of the rule of law, and coup d'état, as well as for damage aggravated by violence and damage to a listed property Mauro Cid and Walter Braga Netto - convicted unanimously for violent abolition of the rule of law, and by majority vote for the crimes mentioned above Jair Bolsonaro - convicted by majority vote for leading an armed criminal organization, attempted abolition of the rule of law, and coup d'état, as well as damage aggravated by violence and serious threat to federal property, considerable harm to the victim, and damage to a listed property
