247 – Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), made a nod to Minister Luiz Fux, who has been expressing some disagreements in relation to the rapporteur in the coup plot cases.

“The hearings were held by videoconference under my presidency and with the honorable participation of the eminent minister Luiz Fux. And, in fact, on the first day, with the honorable participation of all the ministers of this Court,” said Moraes in the trial of nucleus 1, at the STF, this Tuesday (2).

Furthermore, Attorney General Paulo Gonet recalled a threat made by former President Jair Bolsonaro to Minister Fux during a September 7 rally in São Paulo. According to Gonet, Bolsonaro's statement"cannot be mistaken for an isolated outburst, but rather exposed his authoritarian agenda."

Fux has been seen as a ray of hope by Bolsonaro's supporters in the trial of the coup plot — he even criticized, for example, the number of plea bargains made by Mauro Cid during the process.
