Israel: Attacking Tehran with unabated force

Israel claims to have bombed new military targets in the Iranian capital Tehran, and local sources report, among other things, attacks at a university.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz describes the Israeli attacks on targets in Tehran on Monday as unprecedented in their intensity.

Iranian media also reported attacks on the Fordo nuclear facility, one of the three facilities the US bombed over the weekend. There is no danger to residents in the area, according to the Tasnim news agency.

Iran's student news network reports an Israeli attack that hit Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran.

Iran's state TV channel reports that the entrance to Evin Prison in Tehran has been hit by an Israeli attack.

The Iranian Red Crescent says one of the Israeli airstrikes hit near its building in northern Tehran on Monday. The extent of the damage is not yet known.
