Donald Trump described today's conversation with the leaders of Germany, France, and the United Kingdom as one that was quite tough.
He told reporters about this, his own correspondent reports to Ukrinform.
"We spoke to the leaders of France, Germany and the UK - they are all very good leaders, very good friends of mine, and we discussed Ukraine in quite tough terms. We'll see what happens," Trump said.
He added that he was waiting for answers before moving forward.
According to the head of the White House, during the conversation with the European leaders, there were some small arguments about people, and they would also like us to meet over the weekend in Europe.
The US President noted that there are a lot of things going on right now, but, he continued, we will figure it out.
As Ukrinform reported, a telephone conversation took place on Wednesday between US President Donald Trump, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The leaders discussed the progress of the ceasefire talks in Ukraine.
