President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he is against Russia's territorial concessions.
The head of state stated this during a joint press statement with European Council President Antonio Costa before the EU summit in Brussels, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. At the same time, the president emphasized that Ukraine is ready to participate in negotiations in any format.
"We are ready to support any format of negotiations. But the main thing is the content of the negotiations. We need honest discussions. We need lasting peace. This is very important for our people," the President said.
As reported, on October 21, the leaders of a number of European states and the EU leadership issued a joint statement supporting US President Donald Trump's initiative to immediately cease hostilities in Ukraine and begin peace talks based on the current contact line.
