The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that the death toll from Israeli military operations in the Strip has risen to 68,229 since October 7, 2023, after the bodies of 13 people arrived at hospitals in the past 24 hours.

A statement issued by the ministry stated that"the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 68,229 martyrs and 170,369 injuries, since October 7, 2023."

The same statement noted that "13 martyrs arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals, including 7 martyrs as a result of direct targeting by the occupation, 6 martyrs who were recovered, and 8 injuries during the past 24 hours."

In the same statement, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip indicated that the number of Palestinian deaths since the ceasefire on October 11 has reached 87, with 311 others injured, and 432 bodies recovered.

The ministry stated that,"Today, Tuesday, 15 bodies were received from the occupation, whose identities were unknown, bringing the total number of bodies received from the occupation to 165."

The same source noted that "a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the streets, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them."
