Photos from the city center bear witness to the devastating effect of the storm: concrete benches were pulled out of their beds and thrown, trees and branches were broken, while one tree fell directly in front of the monument.

According to local Radio Boom 93, the storm caused more damage.

The City Park in Pozarevac was the most damaged, where the stormy wind broke trees, and uprooted one tree.

The Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ) has warned that heavy showers with thunder, hail and short-term strong and stormy north-west wind are expected in the area of the most intense showers tonight in the north and west of Serbia, and bad weather is expected in other parts of Serbia during the night towards Sunday and tomorrow.
