On Tuesday, Vitkoff and Kushner had lunch with Putin's envoy Kirill Dmitriev, after which they toured various attractions in the Russian capital, including a Christmas market.

Witkoff and Kushner then went to meet with Russian dictator Putin, and the meeting between the two sides lasted about five hours.

Before the meeting, Putin made a series of brash statements to reporters, including accusing Europe of"sabotaging the peace process."

At around 11:40 p.m. Latvian time, it was announced that the talks had concluded, with Dmitriyev describing them as"productive." Putin's advisor Yuri Ushakov, meanwhile, said the talks had been"constructive, useful, and substantive."

The BBC indicates that Vitkoff is no longer in the Kremlin and has gone to the US embassy.

It has already been reported that US President's special envoy Steve Witkoff had another meeting with Ukrainian negotiator Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, in Florida on Monday, informed sources told AFP.
