Erdoğan, stating that the sessions to be held today and tomorrow will cover a variety of topics, from security and development to economy and politics, said,"For two days, we will discuss issues that are important to our party and our future, as well as issues that occupy the agenda of our country, our nation, and the world. The distinguishing feature of our consultation meetings is that they facilitate shared wisdom. All our participating colleagues will present their opinions, voice their ideas, and share their criticisms and proposals with the attendees in a democratic environment dominated by sincerity and affection, thus enlightening the light of truth."
Emphasizing that the AK Party is a political movement where the culture of consultation has been institutionalized, Erdoğan stated that since its founding, affairs have always been carried out with common sense, consultation, listening to the nation, and consulting with the nation.
Erdoğan pointed out that they adopted the command,"Hold yourself to account before you are held to account," as their guide, and noted the following:
We have always strived to do better, to work more effectively and efficiently, and to serve the nation in the best possible way. We have considered diverse ideas a source of richness. We have viewed constructive criticism as a beacon illuminating our path. It is a fact that consultation not only leads to shared wisdom. It also increases abundance, deepens insight, strengthens foresight, broadens horizons, and further strengthens the brotherhood and solidarity among our cadres. We are holding our 32nd meeting with this same understanding. Our consultation meeting, as in previous ones, will serve as a platform where we can hold a mirror up to our party, question ourselves, and take a fine-tuned snapshot of all national political issues. I particularly urge you to share your heartfelt thoughts and thoughts with us. I thank all my fellow participants in advance for their valuable ideas, suggestions, and constructive criticism.

"OUR MARTYRS WILL ALWAYS BE THE CROWN OF OUR HEADS"
Recalling that the separatist terrorist organization carried out its first attack 41 years ago on August 14, 1984, in the Eruh district of Siirt and the Şemdinli district of Hakkari, Erdoğan said:
In this terrorist attack, we lost two of our soldiers as martyrs and nine civilians were injured. Since that date, the separatist organization has carried out attacks against our security forces and civilians. We have lost nearly 10,000 security personnel in the fight against terrorism. Nearly 50,000 of our citizens have also lost their lives in terrorist incidents. First and foremost, I once again pray to God for mercy upon our martyrs and our citizens who lost their lives. We have not forgotten them, and we will not forget them. Our homeland, God willing, will exist forever, and our flag with the star and crescent will wave freely in our skies, God willing. Our martyrs, who watered our homeland with their blood and painted our flag with their red blood, will always be the crown of our honor.
Erdoğan, noting that terrorism has been escalating in Türkiye every day since its first attack in 1984, made the following statement:
Since then, many governments have come and gone. Each one promised to eradicate terrorism, but terrorism has not been eradicated either on our soil or in the other countries where it has established a base. Certainly, some of the state's misconduct played a role in this. The White Toros massacres, the unsolved murders, and Diyarbakır Prison were among these. Villages burned, people forced to migrate overnight, and mothers unable to speak Kurdish with their children in prison were just some of these misconducts. Instead of ending terrorism, these unlawful and illegitimate methods of struggle have, on the contrary, fueled and amplified it, providing a fertile ground for the terrorist organization to exploit.
Emphasizing that we all pay the price for our mistakes, Erdoğan said,"Not only did our security forces lose their lives, not only did civilians lose their lives, but Turkey was also destabilized by these terrorist attacks. We faced a cost in the economy of nearly $2 trillion. Above all, the terrorist organization inflicted severe damage on our country's peace, tranquility, unity, integrity, and brotherhood."
Erdoğan stated that they addressed the issue of terrorism in a multi-dimensional manner when they took office after the November 3, 2002 elections, and noted the following:
While fighting terrorism, we also fought to drain the swamp that served as a pretext for terrorism. We took measures to prevent the terrorist organization from ensnaring our Kurdish brothers and sisters and alienating them from the state and the nation. We took historic steps to uphold the principles of coexistence and brotherhood. While implementing reforms that constituted a"silent revolution" domestically regarding democracy and human rights, we conducted intense diplomatic activity abroad. Along with all this, we developed our defense industry and produced our counter-terrorism weapons without external dependence. We took full control of our borders through cross-border operations. Following the treacherous coup attempt of July 15th, we purged FETÖ from all our institutions, especially our armed forces and security forces. Thus, we eliminated the betrayal in the fight against terrorism. In recent years, we have immediately and completely broken the terrorist organization's operational capabilities. We have prevented terrorist acts from harming officials or civilians. Our operations in Iraq and the December 8th revolution in Syria have further strengthened our hand in the fight against terrorism.

"THE 47-YEAR-OLD TROUBLE OF TERROR HOPEFULLY HAS ENTERED THE PROCESS OF ENDING"
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said,"As of yesterday, the 47-year scourge of terrorism has, God willing, entered the process of ending. Turkey began closing a long, painful, arduous, and tear-filled chapter. Let us not forget that today is a new day. Today, a new page has opened in history. Today, the doors of a great Türkiye, a strong Türkiye, a Turkish Century have been flung wide open."
Speaking at the AK Party's 32nd Consultation and Evaluation Meeting held at a hotel in Kızılcahamam, Erdoğan said that the alliance partners had taken a series of steps to realize the"Terrorism-Free Turkey" project, in line with the historic call of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli.
Emphasizing that security units are working in full coordination, Erdoğan stated that they are managing a very sensitive and cautious process to take advantage of this window of opportunity that has opened before the country.
Recalling that the terrorist organization PKK convened its congress upon İmralı's call and announced its dissolution, Erdoğan said,"Yesterday, the organization implemented its decision, specifically holding a ceremony and laying down its weapons. As of yesterday, the 47-year scourge of terrorism has entered the process of ending, God willing. Turkey has begun to close a long, painful, and tear-filled chapter. Let us not forget that today is a new day. Today, a new page has opened in history. Today, the doors of a great Türkiye, a strong Türkiye, a Century of Turkey have been flung wide open."
Erdoğan stated that Türkiye resorted to every means and method to end terrorism after the terrorist organization's first attack in 1984, and noted the following:
Looking at examples around the world, formulas beyond armed struggle have been tried to end terrorism. However, none of them have been successful. The 'Terror-Free Turkey' Project that we have been following recently is not the result of a negotiation, a bargain, or a give-and-take process. That is why we were very careful from the beginning. Today, we are even more careful. We are closely following all kinds of initiatives that will stop the bloodshed, stop the tears of mothers, ease the pain, and strengthen brotherhood. However, everyone should be sure of this: We will not allow the honor and pride of the Republic of Turkey to be trampled. We will never allow Türkiye to bow its head. We are pursuing our 'Terror-Free Turkey' project with this understanding. First and foremost, I want all of Türkiye to know this: As you will appreciate, it is no one's right to question the nationalism, patriotism, and love for Turkey of our alliance partner, the Nationalist Movement Party Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, and his team. Similarly, I have never questioned the nationalism, patriotism, and love for Turkey of myself, and of those who are here and those who are not."No one can question it. It is not anyone's place or right to do so."
Erdoğan emphasized that MHP Chairman Bahçeli and his staff, along with him, have sacrificed their lives, their blood, all their experiences, and their very existence for a"Turkey Without Terrorism," and said that they are not involved in anything that is not in the best interest of Türkiye.
Erdoğan, noting that their understanding, policies, direction, and efforts are solely for the benefit of Türkiye today, said,"You will see us at the forefront of every initiative that benefits Türkiye. And you will see us at the forefront of every initiative that does not benefit Türkiye, directly opposing that initiative. We know exactly what we are doing. No one should be afraid, uneasy, or worried. Let no one have any questions in their minds. Whatever we do, we do for Turkey. Whatever we do, we do for our nation. We do for our independence. We do for our future."
Stating that they have to speak openly about certain truths today, Erdoğan said that terrorism has created a sector, an ecosystem with its opponents from the very beginning.
