"We are also continuing our completely fair work regarding various individuals who have associated themselves with Russia. Figures with political influence and a Russian passport, individuals who work against Ukrainian independence in all its dimensions, including against spiritual independence, anyone who supports aggression or justifies it — all these individuals have no place in Ukraine and will not have any. We are making appropriate decisions and preparing new Ukrainian sanctions — there will be decisions by the NSDC," he said.
As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree terminating the Ukrainian citizenship of Orest Berezovsky, better known as the Primate of the UOC MP Onufriy.
In particular, the SBU established that Onufriy voluntarily obtained Russian citizenship in 2002, which he did not notify the authorized Ukrainian authorities about. At the same time, after that, he continued to use the status of a citizen of Ukraine.
