In the last few hours, agents from the Dijín, Sijín and the CTI of the Attorney General's Office carried out two raids aimed at clarifying the attack against senator and presidential candidate Miguel Uribe Turbay.
EL TIEMPO learned that one of the proceedings was carried out in the Villas de Alcalá neighborhood, in the town of Engativá, at the residence of the minor's aunt who was arrested, after firing the weapon at the 39-year-old politician, in the Modelia neighborhood, west of Bogotá.
Another of the raids was carried out at the home of the minor's grandmother, a few blocks from the property where the initial judicial proceeding was held.

These procedures were carried out by specialized units of the Dijín and the Sijín, seeking to establish possible links between the minor and criminal structures that could be involved in the attack on Uribe Turbay.
Key pieces within the investigations
EL TIEMPO learned that two cell phones, a laptop, notebooks, and documents that could provide clues to the investigation were seized in the two raids."All of these elements are relevant to the investigation," said a source.
These elements are intended to decrypt the information on the devices represented in more than 10 terabytes of information, in addition to tracking the IP addresses with which the devices have interacted.

Additionally, it seeks to access different messaging applications to find messages, as well as videos, photos, and emails.
Measures are aimed at collecting the largest amount of information
On Sunday night, Defense Minister Pedro Sánchez indicated that, in this case, it was not just a matter of raids.
"There is a group of 188 investigators working with military intelligence, but also with the National Intelligence Directorate and UNP personnel, to gather as much information as possible. And that information must be evaluated," said the head of the security portfolio.

He also revealed that a specialized team “ is analyzing all communications surrounding it .”
"There are already extremely important lines of work, but we also cannot reveal how we are progressing because it seriously jeopardizes the investigation and would violate due process," the minister emphasized.
On Monday morning, the Attorney General of the Nation, Luz Adriana Camargo Garzón; the Director of the Police, Major General Carlos Fernando Triana; the Delegate for Territorial Security of the Attorney General's Office, Deicy Jaramillo Rivera; the Director of the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI), Fabián Andrés Ordóñez Tacué; and the Director of the Dijín, Colonel Hebert Mejía Castro, delivered a preliminary report on the progress of the investigation into the attack.
