Recently, Swedish European Parliament member Charlie Weimers claimed that the Iranian regime has collapsed and invited Reza Pahlavi to speak in the European Parliament. Weimers also requested that the European Union Foreign Affairs Representative meet with Pahlavi. In addition, Reza Pahlavi began to be introduced by many Western media outlets as the interim leader after the overthrow of the country's regime.

PEHLEVİ: THE REGIME HAS LOST ENOUGH POWER, IT IS TIME TO SUPPORT THE PEOPLE

When Martha MacCallum, a TV reporter, asked Reza Pahlavi what he knew about the situation inside Iran, Pahlavi said that the regime had almost completely collapsed, that he did not think it was necessary to attack the Fordow plant, and that the Iranian people should now be supported in overthrowing the regime. Pahlavi claimed that the biggest obstacle in front of them was communication, as there was no internet in the country, that the people were ready to fight, and that a part of the Iranian army had reached out to him and were ready to fight for regime change.

The reporter asked Martha Pahlavi how she would respond if the Iranian people demanded that she rule the country for a certain period of time under the title of Shah of Iran. Pahlavi responded that their main goal now was to overthrow the regime and that a decision could be made later on what title she would rule the country under. Pahlavi also claimed that the Iranian people trusted her and would easily accept her as an interim leader.

In an interview with Sky News yesterday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was asked how he viewed the idea of regime change in Iran, and he responded that regime change was an unacceptable option, as Putin had said. He said that if America or Israel were to kill Khamenei, they would receive a very harsh response from Russia. Peskov's final statement on the subject was that regime change would encourage even more internal unrest and the rise of different extremist groups in the country.
