Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara arrived at Hamad International Airport in the Qatari capital to participate in the emergency Arab-Islamic summit regarding the Israeli attack on Doha.

Al-Sharaa was received by Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs of Qatar.

An emergency Arab-Islamic summit is being held in Doha today to discuss a response to the unprecedented Israeli attack last week targeting Hamas officials in Qatar, which has long played a mediating role.

The meeting comes amid widespread international condemnation of the Israeli attack, particularly from the Gulf states, in an effort to adopt a collective stance.
