During his speech at the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit held in Doha today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi addressed a message to the people of Israel.

President Sisi said: “To the people of Israel, I say that what is happening now undermines the future of peace, threatens your security and the security of all peoples of the region, and obstructs any prospects for new peace agreements. It even sabotages existing peace agreements with countries in the region. The consequences will be dire, as the region will return to an atmosphere of conflict and the historic efforts to build peace and the gains achieved through it will be lost. This is a price we will all pay, without exception.”

He continued: Do not allow the efforts of our ancestors for peace to be in vain, and regret to be futile.

President Sisi emphasized that Israel's rampant arrogance and growing intransigence require us, as leaders of the Arab and Islamic worlds, to work together to establish foundations and principles that reflect our shared vision and interests.

He stressed that Israel must understand that its security and safety will not be achieved through policies of force and aggression, but rather through adherence to international law and respect for the sovereignty of Arab and Islamic states. He added that the sovereignty of these states cannot be infringed upon under any pretext, and that these are non-negotiable principles.
