Fighters of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine struck the headquarters of the enemy Rubicon unit, organized in a dilapidated building in the territory of the temporarily occupied city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region.

This was reported by the press service of the GUR, Ukrinform reports.

The intelligence department reminds: the Rubicon unit specializes in the use of unmanned systems, including combat ones, within the framework of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It is one of the most combat-ready structures of the Russian Armed Forces, on which the aggressor country spends significant resources.

The GUR fighters obtained the coordinates of the enemy headquarters and, in the conditions of dense urban development, accurately directed an FP-2 unmanned aerial vehicle with a warhead weighing over 105 kg at it.

As a result of the strike, officers and drone operators of the Rubicon unit were eliminated.
