In an address published on the official website of the president, he said that the Ukrainian forces, based on the reports of the army and the intelligence service, are keeping the situation on the front under control, especially in the Pokrovsky direction and neighboring areas, in Kupyansk, as well as in the border areas around Kharkiv and the Sumy and Zaporozhye regions.

"I am grateful to all our units for their resistance and endurance. We are preparing certain steps on the front and we will answer Russia to their every blow," Zelensky said, Ukrinform agency reported.

According to reports, he spoke with the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Oleksandr Sirsky, in particular about the capabilities of long range weapons.

"The distance and precision of our attacks with long-range weapons against Russia have increased. Almost every day, Russian oil processing infrastructure is hit, and this contributes to Russia's return to reality," Zelensky stated.

He praised the results of certain brigades and services, especially those that, as he stated, destroyed the aggressors on the Kupjanski direction. Zelensky also added that work with European partners continues in order to expand the PURL program, within which Ukraine acquires American weapons, the purchase of which is financed by European countries.

"This is especially about our anti-aircraft systems and long-range weapons. Next week, we will talk with our partners in Europe about the expansion of the PURL program," the President of Ukraine pointed out.

He added that Kiev is also preparing some significant agreements with other countries regarding weapons and defense technology, as well as that Ukraine's capacities are expanding.

"The finalization of an agreement that we have been preparing for several months is underway," concluded Zelenski.
