The Lithuanian national team dominated from the second half, but a nightmare episode occurred in the fourth half for the entire team. After a collision, Rokas Jokubaitis was injured and could not continue the match, and he left the locker room with barely a leg and with the help of the team staff.

The Lithuanian team's lead quickly eroded throughout the remainder of the match, but a block by Ignas Sargiūnas and a three-pointer by Tadas Sedekerskis settled matters on the court.

In the fourth quarter, Rokas Jokubaitis suffered an injury that seemed to end the team's championship. The team, left without its main striker, managed to hold on and achieved an important victory, securing a place in the round of 16.
This match is of great importance. The winner will take a big step towards second place in the group, which would allow them to avoid the Turks and Serbs in the round of 16.
