Earlier, it was reported that several Russian attack drones entered Polish airspace overnight Wednesday, with those that posed a direct threat being shot down. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that the country's airspace had been violated 19 times and that at least three drones had been shot down.
NATO countries discussed the drone incident on Wednesday, with Poland invoking Article 4 of the NATO treaty, which provides for consultations between NATO members if any of them believes its territorial integrity, political independence or security is threatened.
