Meeting with the American President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is scheduled for the end of next week.

This announcement was made by a high-ranking White House representative, reports Sky News. The meeting location is still being discussed, the official said, but among the possibilities, he said, are the UAE, Hungary, Switzerland and Italy. Additional details and logistics are still unclear and highly uncertain, the official added.

The publication noted that to date, the exact date is not yet clear, and it is unknown whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will participate in it.

The official said the Russians have provided a list of demands for a possible ceasefire, and Washington is now trying to enlist the support of Ukrainians and European allies. For its part, Ukraine has long said it will not cede territory occupied by Russia.
