Trump-Zelensky Meeting

The US bombings were an overwhelming success and have prevented Iran from developing nuclear weapons for “decades.”

This is what Donald Trump says to the press ahead of the NATO summit.

If Iran rebuilds its program, the United States could strike again, according to Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

On Wednesday morning, US President Trump arrived at the summit. There he and Mark Rutte met with the press.

After some pleasant small talk between the two, the press was allowed to ask questions. Many were about whether the US had succeeded in significantly disrupting Iran's nuclear energy program.

According to reports in American media, Iran's capabilities have only slowed down by a few months.

The attack on the media: Scum

Trump and his administration claim that the attack was a total success. During the press conference, he calls several media outlets that reported critically about it, including the NY Times and CNN, scum.

Previously, the Trump administration has said that Iran's ability to develop nuclear weapons has been pushed back by years.

– It will take decades to build, says Donald Trump.

The fact that Iran wanted to end the conflict and agreed to a ceasefire is evidence of this, according to Trump.

– If we hadn't knocked it out, they wouldn't have agreed to a deal, says Trump, who says that the United States will have some kind of relationship with Iran in the future.

"Will not allow it"

Iran has announced that it will resume its nuclear energy program. If that happens, the United States may carry out new bombings of facilities, according to Trump.

– We will not allow them to do that.

Defense Minister Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are also in The Hague.

“If they try to rebuild it, we can strike again,” Rubio says.

Mark Rutte, who recently sent a series of congratulatory text messages to Trump, also came out to the US president's defense. He says the bombings knocked out Iran's nuclear program. According to him, Trump's decision to bomb Iranian facilities sends an important signal to the world.

– If necessary, he will use his strength.
