US Attack on Iran

Iranian Retaliation

Iran also targeted US air bases in Iraq.

Several explosions have been heard over the Qatari capital Doha, shortly after Qatar closed its airspace, the French news agency AFP reports.

Iran has announced that it has attacked US forces stationed at the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, the missiles were fired at the bases by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. The missiles are said to pose no threat to Qatari civilians. Meanwhile, the IRNA news agency reported the start of an operation called Blessing of Victory.

The missiles were intercepted.

Qatar strongly condemned the attack, saying it was a clear violation of its sovereignty, airspace, international law and the United Nations Charter.

A spokesman for the Qatari Foreign Ministry wrote on social media that the missiles were intercepted and that there were no casualties. He also said that his country reserves the right to respond to the aggression.

According to Reuters news agency, Iran informed Qatari authorities in advance of its intention to carry out an attack on the US base.

Meanwhile, the US National Security Council is meeting at the White House.

Missiles over Doha

Qatari authorities cited the regional situation following the US attacks on Iran when closing the airspace. In addition to the explosions, AFP also reports rockets over Doha.

An Axios reporter, citing an Israeli official, said that Iran had fired six missiles aimed at US air bases in Qatar.

Israel today with full force against Tehran

The new Israeli attack on Ford was first reported today by several Iranian media outlets, citing a statement from the authorities in Qom province, where the nuclear facility is located. The shelling reportedly did not endanger residents.

The attacks were also confirmed by the Israeli military, which stated that its goal was to disable access to the nuclear facility.

Fordow was previously targeted on Sunday, along with two other facilities in Isfahan and Natanz, in a US attack using special bombs designed to destroy deeply buried and fortified bunkers and tunnels.

Israeli Defense Minister Israeli Katz reported on the X network about the worst attacks ever on the capital Tehran, where the military is said to be"targeting regime targets and agencies of government repression with unprecedented force".

Among the targets was the notorious Evin prison, a fortified complex in the north of the capital that has been a site of human rights abuses against political opponents for decades. It is also said to frequently hold foreign nationals, whom Western governments say Tehran holds as a kind of hostage.

The attack was also confirmed by Iranian authorities, who said the facility was damaged, but the situation was reportedly under control.

According to Katz, the targets included the headquarters of the Basij paramilitary militia, which the Iranian government has repeatedly used to suppress protests, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the French news agency AFP reports.

Earlier today, Israel said it had attacked missile launch sites in western Iran and six airports.

Power outages

According to Iranian media reports, Israel, among other things, hit the electricity supply system, causing power outages.

Air raid sirens sounded several times in Israel today, and AFP journalists reported explosions over Jerusalem. In the south of the country, power supplies were also disrupted due to damage to infrastructure, but authorities did not give a cause. About 8,000 people are said to be without power.

According to a report today by Iranian state television, citing data from the Health Ministry, around 500 people have been killed and 3,000 injured in Israeli attacks in Iran so far. According to official figures, Iranian attacks in Israel have claimed 24 lives.
