At least 25 hostages are believed to have died, while around 20 are believed to be alive, and in this regard, France Press (AFP) published a list of those believed to be alive:

• Matan Angrest, a 22-year-old non-commissioned officer of the Israeli army from the town of Kiryat Bialik in northern Israel, was kidnapped after he tried to prevent the entry of Hamas members near the Nahal Oz base. ;
• Gali and Ziv Berman, 28-year-old music producers, abducted from Kibbutz Kfar Az in southern Israel after surviving a Hamas attack
• Elkana Bobot, 36-year-old producer and one of the employees of the Nova music festival, from where most of the hostages were abducted, a citizen of Colombia
• Roma Braslavski, 21-year-old security guard at the Nova festival, German citizen
• Nimrod Cohen, 21-year-old soldier from Rehovot, abducted from a tank near Kibbutz Nahal Oz
• David and Ariel Kunio, brothers aged 28 and 35, abducted with their family in Kibbutz Nir Oz where attackers set them on fire house
• Eviatar David, a 24-year-old from Kfar Saba in central Israel, kidnapped at the Nova festival
• Guy Gilboa Dalal, a 24-year-old programmer, also kidnapped at the Nova festival
• Maksim Herkin, a 37-year-old dual citizen of Israel and Russia, who lived in Tirat Carmel in northern Israel
• Eitan Horn, a 39-year-old educator from Kfar Saba, abducted in Kibbutz Nir Oz
• Segev Kalfon, a 27-year-old baker's assistant from Dimona in the south of Israel, abducted at the Nova festival
• Bar Kuperstein, a 23-year-old military doctor from Holon near Tel Aviv, abducted during the festival Nova
• Omri Miran, 48-year-old physiotherapist and Hungarian citizen, abducted from Kibbutz Nahal Oz
• Eytan Mor, 25-year-old security guard at the Nova festival from Kiryat Arba settlement in the occupied West Bank
• Yosef-Haim Ohana, 25-year-old coach from Kiryat Malachi in southern Israel, kidnapped from the Nova festival, where he was bartender
• Alon Ohel, 24-year-old pianist who was supposed to start music studies at the Rimon Conservatory in Ramat Hasharon, in the central part of Israel, kidnapped from the Nova festival and captured in a shelter on the border with Gaza, citizen of Serbia and Germany
• Avinatan Or, 22-year-old student and citizen of Great Britain from the settlement of Shilo in the West on the coast, kidnapped at the festival Nova
• Matan Zangauker, 25-year-old from Kibbutz Nir Oz and worker on a medical cannabis plantation
