US President Donald Trump said he had settled complex international conflicts, in particular between Azerbaijan and Albania, apparently confusing it with Armenia.

As reported by Vlaskor to Ukrinform in New York, the head of the White House said this on Friday on the program Fox & Friends.

He once again emphasized that during his presidency he ended seven unsolvable wars. I decided, as you know, seven wars, seven! I did so many, including Pakistan and India… But some of the big ones (conflicts, – ed.) were unsolvable… Congo and Rwanda – it lasted 31 years. Millions of people died… Azerbaijan and Albania – it lasted many, many years.

At the same time, Trump described in detail his meeting at the White House, apparently with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan (without mentioning their names or countries).

I had prime ministers and presidents in my office. They were sitting so far apart... I said, Guys, unite.

One of them, according to Trump, stated that he had been killing opponents for 22 years, the other for seven years.

"I say: Hug and make up. And in any case, we solved the problem," the US president said.

He once again admitted that he mistakenly considered the conflict between Russia and Ukraine to be the easiest to resolve.

As Ukrinform reported, Earlier in an interview the US president had already pointed to his role in settling the conflict between Azerbaijan and Albania, confusing it with Armenia.
