President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky officially received from the American side draft plan, which, according to the American side, can intensify diplomacy.

As reported press service The President's Office, the head of state outlined the fundamental principles that are important for our people, and following today's meeting, we agreed to work on the points of the plan in a way that would result in a dignified end to the war.

"From the first seconds of the Russian invasion, Ukraine has been striving for peace, and we support all meaningful proposals that can bring real peace closer. Ukraine has supported President Trump's proposals since the beginning of this year to end the bloodshed. We are ready to work constructively with the American side and our partners in Europe and the world to ensure that the result is peace," the message says.

It is also noted that Zelensky expects to discuss with Trump in the coming days the available diplomatic opportunities and the main points needed for peace.

Trump's"peace plan" - the position of the Russian Federation

As UNIAN reported, the Kremlin again refused to confirm the authenticity of the"peace plan" for Ukraine, allegedly developed jointly by representatives of the Russian Federation and the United States and"leaked" through Western media. The corresponding statement was made by the spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

He also noted that Russia and the United States are not consulting on the issue of resolving the war in Ukraine, although there are contacts between the countries.
