Trump said on the Truth Social platform on Sunday that despite his high popularity, the channels had spread"97% bad stories" about him, as well as reported unfairly about Republicans.
As Trump claims, many people believe that the nation's telecommunications regulator, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), should revoke the licenses of these channels.
"I would fully support it because they are so biased and false that they are a real threat to our democracy," Trump said.
He also suggested that broadcasters, which he called"fake news", should actually pay millions of dollars a year in licensing fees for"the privilege of using the most valuable airwaves at any time and place".
Trump appointed Republican Brendan Carr as FCC chairman soon after winning the election.
The president accuses ABC and NBC, as well as CBS and CNN, of being the main mouthpieces of the Democrats and of denigrating his conservative policies.
Trump has also launched campaigns against other media outlets whose material does not align with his views.
The Wall Street Journal was recently denied access to government aircraft after reporting on Trump's contacts with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
