Iran's Disinformation Campaign to Hide Its Military Failure from Israel
Early Friday morning, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion on Iranian soil. In a matter of hours, the army dealt a severe blow to the ayatollahs' regime, attacking nuclear facilities and eliminating much of the military leadership. The fragility of the Islamic Republic was more exposed than ever in the face of Israel's overwhelming offensive to curb the Iranian nuclear program. For this reason, Tehran, still bewildered, once again resorted to a disinformation campaign to hide its military failure.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog called on the international community on Saturday to support his fight against Iran, stressing that the Iranian nuclear program represents a threat not only to his country's existence but to the world as a whole.
“We find ourselves at a historic crossroads for the entire Middle East: between a terrorist jihad that seeks to dominate the region, and a horizon of collaboration and peace for the future ,” he began by saying in a video, in which he then called for “uncompromising” support for his troops.
“This is not just our war, but the war of all those who seek a common future in our region. Nuclear weapons in the hands of a murderous ideology are a threat to humanity,” he insisted.
