The incident caught the attention of those passing by the Naciones Unidas boulevard, where several shopping centers and bank headquarters are located.
The billboards were placed on a pedestrian bridge in the area, where a group of Venezuelan citizens also gathered with a loudspeaker to shout slogans against the Maduro regime.
The banners replicate the colors and designs used by the United States government to offer $50 million for information leading to the capture of Maduro, $25 million for Venezuelan Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello, and $15 million for Vladimir Padrino López.

Along with these, there was another banner attributed to the Voluntad Popular Internacional collective, with the legend: Thousands of Venezuelans are currently imprisoned and being tortured by Nicolás Maduro's regime. You are not alone! Venezuela, we are still with you!
Meanwhile, tensions in Venezuela have increased following the Trump administration's threat to deploy three ships and troops to the Caribbean, in waters near the country, as part of its crackdown on drug trafficking.
