On the sidelines of the Sir Bani Yas Forum in the UAE, Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, met with Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, on Saturday. Minister Abdel-Aty expressed appreciation for the close relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of working together to develop bilateral relations in all fields.

The meeting addressed the follow-up to the outcomes of the recent visit of Minister Abdel-Aty to Islamabad, especially with regard to preparing a roadmap to enhance bilateral cooperation during the next stage, including supporting the economic partnership, encouraging cooperation between the private sector in the two countries, and continuing the mechanisms of political consultation, in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries.
