Poll | Should García Ortiz resign after the Supreme Court approved his prosecution?

The Government has maintained its support this Tuesday for the Attorney General of the State, Álvaro García Ortiz, after the confirmation of his prosecution for a crime of revealing secrets linked to the businessman Alberto González Amador, partner of the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
Government sources confirmed this Tuesday after the press conference following the Council of Ministers meeting that the Executive maintains its support for the Attorney General after learning at that time of his prosecution by the Supreme Court, which rejected García Ortiz's appeal.
We continue to support him, these sources insist, even though the Supreme Court's Criminal Chamber confirms that there is sufficient evidence to prosecute the head of the public ministry.
Government sources assume that this decision will force García Ortiz to face a trial, which is expected to be held in the Supreme Court in the coming months.
And it would be the first time that a state attorney general has been tried, unless he resigns first.
