Iran demands IAEA condemn Israel for its attacks on nuclear facilities

Iran's ambassador to the IAEA, Reza Najafi, on Monday demanded that the United Nations agency condemn Israel for its attacks on nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic.

"The IAEA Board must condemn the Israeli aggression in the strongest possible terms and hold it accountable. Otherwise, it would be appeasing this aggressive, child-murdering regime, which amounts to genocide," the Iranian representative said. He also accused the United States in statements to the press of having"full knowledge" of the Israeli attacks,"which indicates a level of foreknowledge and complicity in the matter."
