Anchorage. US President Donald Trump spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelensky and other European leaders after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday, Fox News reported.

Earlier this week, Trump told reporters he intended to call Zelensky and European leaders as soon as the summit with Putin concluded, to brief them on the results of the meeting aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine.

The meeting between Trump and Putin concluded earlier on Friday, lasting more than two and a half hours.

This Friday, Putin and Trump held a summit in Alaska, the first since the Republican politician's return to the White House, where they discussed the Ukrainian crisis.

The meeting, which was initially scheduled to be face-to-face, was held in a three-party format, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and special envoy Steve Witkoff accompanying the host, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov representing the Russian side.

Secretaries Scott Bessent (Treasury), Howard Lutnick (Commerce), and Pete Hegseth (Defense) later joined the talks, as did White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, representing the U.S. side.

On the Russian side, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov and Finance Minister Anton Siluanov joined the meeting, along with the presidential envoy for economic cooperation and investment, Kirill Dmitriev.

Trump said earlier this Friday that a potential second meeting with Putin could be more important than the first, because of the possibility that it could be"definitive."
