247 - US President Donald Trump renewed his attacks on Brazil on Thursday (14), and also took the opportunity to accuse the country of applying supposedly"extremely high" trade tariffs on US products.
According to Trump, Brazil is among the US's worst trading partners. However, the Brazil-US trade balance favors the North American country, according to official data.
"One of the worst countries in the world. It's been a terrible trading partner when it comes to tariffs," the president said during a White House press conference, according to RT.
Brazil suffered unilateral US tariffs of 50% on its products. Through negotiations, an extensive list of domestic products was eventually exempted.
