Dicle Canova's report is as follows;
Israel's attempt to target a Hamas delegation in Doha, the Qatari capital, has sparked new debate. US President Trump tweeted,"The decision was entirely Israel's. Unilateral bombing inside an ally like Qatar advances neither Israel's nor the US's objectives."
CRITICAL ASSESSMENT FROM ANKARA: ISRAEL'S QATAR OPERATION MAY CAUSE TURMOIL IN THE REGION
So, did Netanyahu really act without the US's knowledge? Sources I spoke with in Ankara believe that attacking Qatar was unwise. There are comments like,"If the US isn't involved, then Netanyahu has gone completely off the rails," but the question remains,"If the US administration has knowledge and support, what leverage does Israel have against the US administration that would allow it to launch this initiative, which would undermine the US's credibility?" Because, after all, there are observations that the US allowed this to happen. On the other hand, there's also concern that Israel's initiative could backfire. Why? It's created fears in other Arab countries that don't get along with Qatar, wondering if they'll attack us too. They've all come together. If this situation persists, it will be detrimental to Israel in the region. The EU Commission President announced that they may suspend bilateral support and propose sanctions. Some European countries are preparing to recognize Palestine at the UN General Assembly on September 23rd. Israel's Qatar operation could accelerate these initiatives.
Meanwhile, every topic the US seemingly attempts to address creates a perception that"Israel is pushing the situation to a deadlock." Almost every positive initiative in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza is thwarted by Israeli attacks. The pressure exerted by the Jewish lobby on the administration in this context is also highlighted. Another point of note is that the question"How did Israel conduct this operation?" is being discussed more than the reasons behind it. There are comments that Israel is deliberately providing too much information and trying to manipulate the issue to create the desired perception. Numerous reports, including claims that the F-35s were refueled by British aircraft, are circulating. The details of the operation are being discussed, missing the point. In other words, the perception environment Israel has created, particularly through social media, has reached a more dangerous level. Sources warn that caution is needed.
"THEY DON'T HAVE THE DARE TO STRIKE Türkiye"
So, would Israel strike Türkiye, or could it? The sources I spoke with say,"It wouldn't dare." Why? They summarize this in two points. First, Turkey is a NATO member state. An attack against it would also bind NATO allies. Article 5 stipulates that if a NATO ally is subjected to an armed attack, each member of the alliance will consider the act of violence an armed attack against all members and will take whatever action it deems necessary to assist the attacked ally.
Secondly,"Israel also knows that Türkiye is different from other countries in the region," sources say."It cannot conduct military operations, but it can create chaos within Türkiye through other means and methods."

What's being referred to is fifth-column activities. For example, in recent days, there's been an attempt to create the impression that"we attacked the installations Türkiye brought to Syria." Sources I've spoken to say this is untrue and that such an attempt would have serious consequences. In other words, the emphasis is that"there's no chance of Türkiye doing anything against us, either domestically or in Syria."
But Israel's fifth column activities truly require close attention. There are observations that it is particularly effective in using social media. Attempts to manipulate public perception within Türkiye are being highlighted.
At this point, the emphasis is on"virtual media is becoming Turkey's biggest survival problem." Therefore, the need for serious regulations in this area is being emphasized. The message being conveyed is,"Those who create perceptions and write falsehoods should know that they will face severe penalties." In other words, the need for legal regulation in this area is growing daily.
