The Meteorological Authority revealed the weather conditionsin Cairo and the governorates, with cold weather prevailing in the early morning, moderate temperatures during the day in most areas, warm in the south of Upper Egypt, and cool at the beginning of the night and cold at the end of it.

The Meteorological Authority warned of the formation of water fog that may be dense at times (from late at night until 9 am) on some roads leading to and from the north of the country up to Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt and central Sinai, and it may be dense at times on some roads.

Weather maps predicted the availability of light rain in scattered areas of the northwestern coasts, the northern part of Lower Egypt, and southwards in areas of (Halayeb - Shalateen) at intermittent intervals.

The Meteorological Authority announced that wind activity is occurring at times in areas of the northwestern coasts, which may stir up sand and dust in areas of the far west at intermittent intervals.

Some low clouds will appear over areas from the north of the country to Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai and the south of the country, which may result in light and insignificant drizzle in some areas.

Mediterranean Sea conditions: Average wave height is expected to be between 1.75 and 2.25 meters.

Red Sea conditions: Moderate with waves reaching a maximum of 1.5 meters. These details help in planning safe sea trips, while taking care to avoid approaching if the wind picks up.
