In the Holosiivskyi district of the capital, a truck caught fire due to falling debris, and in Podilskyi, debris from a UAV was recorded falling on the territory of non-residential buildings.

Later, the mayor informed that a fire broke out on the top floor of a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital.

"There is another call in Darnytskyi. Also, previously, a fire in an apartment building. Emergency services are heading to the scene," he added later.

In turn, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMMA) Timur Tkachenko informed that in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital, parts of the drone fell near a gas station, and at another address - on the roof of a residential building.

"At another address in the Shevchenkivskyi district, a UAV fell onto the roof of a residential building. Information about the victims is being clarified," he wrote.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

On July 9, the Russian occupiers massively attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles. The enemy used them to attack Ukraine a record number of weapons of destruction – 741 units. As reported by Yuriy Ignat, a representative of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this number includes missiles, drones, and drone simulators.

Lutsk was the main target that night. The city's mayor, Igor Polishchuk, said on a telethon that the Russians attacked the city with dozens of Shahed drones and four Kinzhal missiles.
