The death toll from the collapse of two residential buildings in the Al Massira district of Fez on Tuesday night has risen to sixteen victims, according to the latest information gathered from the scene of the tragedy: 4 dead and 12 injured, including several serious cases.
According to local authorities, four children were among the victims. Twelve people were also injured. Large numbers of rescue teams are continuing their search through the rubble, hoping to find any survivors and completely secure the area.






Regarding the injured, the condition of two pregnant women, pulled from the rubble during the initial hours of the operation, has stabilized. Medical services also report three serious cases and seven others with less severe injuries. All have been transferred to appropriate hospitals to receive the necessary treatment.
The site remains under high alert, with a significant security and medical presence. Rescue operations are continuing uninterrupted, while authorities prepare to release a final report. An investigation is underway to determine the causes of the collapse and understand the circumstances that led to this tragedy, which has deeply shaken the city.
